Chris
Chris Cox, our Facilities and IT Assistant, is passionate about making sure special projects at our Spring Hill and Upper Valley campuses are completed smoothly. His daily responsibilities range from performing repairs—minor to major—to converting old lighting systems to LED, troubleshooting audio, video, stage lighting, and tech equipment, and installing building automation to monitor our facilities’ equipment. He also works with and programs our electronic locks, keypads, HVAC systems, phone equipment, and much more. Chris often lends a hand with tech challenges or building improvements, and values taking on new tasks that help our church community thrive.
Chris was born and raised in Springfield and graduated from Clark County JVS/South High School in 1999. Over the years, he has worked as a network administrator and industrial engineer, and has gained hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers, assembly line automation, robotics, and Bosch Rexroth coding (which involves programming advanced automation systems for manufacturing).
Outside of work, Chris enjoys biking, kayaking, hiking, camping, taking his Jeep overlanding, building and repairing things, and diving into new topics through learning and reading. Music and movies are also among his favorite ways to unwind.
