A national network that equips churches with a heart to help local children and families who are experiencing crisis. This online tool connects churches with local schools and social services so that Fellowship can be made aware of opportunities to meet physical needs that families in our community have. As CarePortal is launching among churches in the Greater Springfield area– Fellowship is already on board, pivoting all of our Benevolence and Crisis Resources to engage through the CarePortal network.
How do I Get Involved with CarePortal
Here are just some of the ways that you can be involved:
Purchase or fund requested items
Pray for families
Help transport requested items (or volunteer use of a truck, if you have one)
Assemble requested items (i.e., beds, dressers)
Connect with families
To get started, create a CarePortal account. This can be done through the CarePortal website (www.CarePortal.org or click on button below) or by downloading the CarePortal app. You will be asked to enter your name, zip code, phone number, email address, and password. Once you have done this, you will be asked to search for a church…simply enter “Fellowship” in the Search bar and select it from the options. (You will be given the option to support other communities or you can simply hit “Skip” to continue.) You are now connected and can view requests in our area and around the country. As local (Clark County) requests are entered, you will be notified via email and given the option to help. In time, we will be creating Fellowship Response Teams, so stay tuned!
