Champion City Sports

1. Next leader(s) to guide basketball, and help expand with new sports (pickleball, disc golf)
2. Increase effectiveness as ministry touch points— shorten the time and distance from the courts to the cross.
3. Bring and increase number of volunteers who are excited to use basketball as connection to the spiritual needs…. And of future recreation activities as well.

King Jesus, we ask that you raise a leader who has wisdom, vision, and a pastoral heart to guide our youth basketball program with excellence and integrity. We ask that you assign volunteers who see athletics as sacred ground and who are eager to leverage sports to serve spiritual needs for your glory. We ask that you expand our reach into new sports and prepare us to use every field and court as a Samaritan well for the gospel. Amen.

Children’s Ministry

1. Next Children’s Director
2. Increased Growth in CM…both spiritually as well as in number of kids/families reached
3. With increased growth of kids, an increase of volunteers who are passionate about teaching and sharing Christ with our kids/families.

King Jesus, we ask that you provide a leader who has wisdom, creativity, and a shepherd’s heart to lead the children’s ministry with passion and joy. We ask for a leader who is gifted and anchored in truth. We ask that you breathe fresh life into our children’s ministry, bringing spiritual growth and an increase in the number of families served. We ask that you assign volunteers who delight in teaching your Word and sharing Jesus with children. We ask that children’s ministry cultivates faith that endures for generations and serves as a Samaritan well for the gospel. Amen.

The 6:2

1. Pray for a continued and deepening desire for Truth in our 18-29 year olds. 
2. Pray for close connections to be formed through The 6:2 through which discipleship and transformation shape “tomorrow’s church.”
3. Pray for Braden and other leaders who are asking God “where do you want to deploy me into your Kingdom work next?”

King Jesus, we thank you for the continuing and deepening hunger for your truth among our young people. We ask that you ground them firmly in Scripture, steady their convictions, and guard them from distraction and compromise. We ask that you guide them in forming authentic, Christ-centered friendships that will shape the character and leadership of your church for years to come. Give strength and wisdom to Braden and his team as they lead with courage, humility, and pastoral discernment as they guide this generation in faithfulness and mission. Amen.

Day Care

1. Wisdom and guidance in creating this unique, new ministry for our community.
2. That God would lead us to the right partners within our church and community that can help us launch quickly and efficiently.
3. That God would provide the financial resources needed to improve our parking lot and our building so that we are ready to receive families through day care.

King Jesus, we ask for wisdom and patience as we follow your lead in establishing a daycare that seeks to serve our community with excellence, compassion, and purpose. We ask that you guide us to meaningful partnerships. We ask for clarity and unity in developing the structure and processes for day care. We ask for provision of resources to complete the improvements to the front of our building and parking lot, and we praise you for the provision you have granted and for each pledge received. Amen.
